NARRATIVE
A Delaware County attorney since 1994, Christine Fizzano Cannon has concentrated her practice in the areas of commercial and contractual matters, municipal and municipal authority law, land use planning, and estate planning and administration. In addition to her private practice, Christine has served as an Assistant County Solicitor and a Special Prosecutor of Child Support Enforcement in Delaware County.
Christine was selected in 2004, by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court Disciplinary Board to serve a 6 year term on a Pennsylvania Disciplinary Board Hearing Committee to conduct evidentiary hearings and issue written legal opinions in cases concerning Pennsylvania attorneys charged with alleged misconduct. Christine previously served on the Governor's Judicial Advisory Committee to review credentials of prospective Court of Common Pleas judge candidates and to make recommendations to the Governor with regard to qualifications.
Christine is currently serving her second two-year term on the Board of Directors of the Delaware County Bar Association (she served previously in 2002 and 2003) and is the Chairman of the County Council/ Bar Association Committee, having previously served as the Chairman of the Sole Practitioners and Small Firms Committee.
She was elected in 2007 to Delaware County Council and was elected to serve as the Vice Chairman in January 2010.

Christine resides in Middletown Township and served on Middletown Township Council as Council-at-Large, for 8 years, before her election to County Council. Christine also served on the Middletown Township Zoning Hearing Board.
Christine has been actively involved with Delaware County community organizations. She served as a Commissioner on the Delaware County Women's Commission, which advocates for women and women's issues in Delaware County, and as a member of the Board of Directors of Riddle Memorial Hospital. She previously served on Tyler Arboretum's Board of Trustees, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Riddle Healthcare Foundation.
